The 2011 Annual General Meeting

Annual General Meeting 2011
Del Val Branch- RSCDS
Saturday, May 14th @ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

Some 14 Branch members started off the meeting with some fun dancing to lively tunes before discussing the items on the agenda. The Branch generally saw a small increase in our membership numbers with overall attendance at events quite good. The outgoing chair of the publicity committee gave a brief report on items accomplished during the past year, including the development of the new website. The Executive Committee has been working hard to find a new dance space in the general vicinity of Lansdowne and hopes the return to the Swarthmore Friends Meetinghouse will suit our needs. There are lots of wonderful programs in the works for the next dance year, including two music workshops, the Bi-Annual Branch Ceilidh, and, of course, Hogmanay. We hope to see more of you at the old Experienced/new Intermediate Class location at the Parish Hall of St. Paul’s in Chestnut Hill on the second and fourth Fridays.

Thank you to all the volunteers who keep the branch running smoothly.

For more detailed notes from the meeting, please view the minutes as provided by the Branch secretary. If you have any questions about items mentioned, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Happy Dancing!
